Wah ini adalah pertanyaan ketika saya baru pertama kali punya mobil (bekas) 7 tahun yang lalu. Meskipun bekas, namun perlu mendapat proteksi agar ketika digunakan, saya jadi tidak was was.

Meskipun pada akhirnya saya tidak jadi membeli (karena harga polis terlalu tinggi) dikarenakan mobil saya tergolong tua pada waktu itu. akhirnya saya biarkan berlalu bergitu saja dan emang saya pakai mobil dengan hati2 dan sangat telaten dalam perawatan.

Suatu ketika pada thn 2013, mobil yang saya gunakan mengalami masalah dibagian pendingin. karena tidak paham, jadi tetap saya pakai dan baru ketahuan seminggu. Kemudian saya ganti radiator, dan saya pikir masalah sudah selesai.

tenyata, tidak cukup.

Karena mobil saya paksa sekitar seminggu dengan kondisi mesin panas berlebihan (overheat)…makanya berpengaruh ke mesin seperti deksel, dan kompnen lain.

Nasihan dari di montir tidak terlalu saya hiraukan, dan benar saja, pada tahun 2016, mobil saya banyak masalah. Rantai api kendur (harus ganti), deksel juga rusak (ganti) dan radiator juga harus dibenerin. Banyak banget pokoknya yang harus dibenerin.

Setelah selesai, dengan biaya sekitar 5 jutaan, saya pikir masalah sudah selesai dan saya jadi lebih tenang.

6 bulan kemudian, mobil saya jadi bermasalah lagi di pendinginnya dan mesin masih terdengar kasar, ditambah lagi sulit distarter pas lagi mati tiba2.

Cerita punya cerita, akhirnya saya bawa lagi ke bengkel yang lain (yang lebih kompeten), ternyata diagnosanya: rantai api harus ganti, radiator harus dibenerin, dan harus bongkar mesin (turun mesin) sekalian ganti aki. yah habis lagi…..

setelah proses perbaikan selama 1 minggu, akhirnya mobil selesai dan tanpa diduga hasilnya sangat bagus dan sampai sekarang mobil saya tidak masalah dan mesin senyap.
